Adam Kay
Adam Kay is a British author of non-fiction and children’s books. He is also a screenwriter, and formerly a doctor. He is best known for his bestselling memoir This Is Going to Hurt . Drawing on his experiences working in the NHS, his writing combines dark humour with honest, often moving reflections on medicine, burnout, and compassion. Kay’s work has been widely praised for making complex and difficult subjects accessible to a broad audience, and This Is Going to Hurt was later adapted into an award-winning television series.
