Angie Thomas is an American author best known for writing the award-winning novel, The Hate U Give . That book was a Goodreads Choice Awards Best of the Best and the winner of the William C. Morris Award. The Hate U Give was adapted into a major motion picture that starred Amandla Stenberg, Algee Smith, and KJ Apa.
