Daniel Clowes
Daniel Clowes is an American author, screenwriter and cartoonist. He finished high school at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools and attended the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, earning his BFA in 1984. When Daniel was four years old, he had an emotional response to a Strange Adventures comic where a family died of heat. His first professional work was for Cracked , which he worked for from 1985 until 1989. That same year, he began his comic book Eightball, which consisted of short pieces that went from comical rant and Freudian analysis to fairy tale and cultural criticism.
