David Ignatius
David Ignatius is an American author of spy thriller/suspense novels, in addition to his work as an associate editor and columnist for the Washington Post . He was educated at Harvard College and Kings College, Cambridge University. He started out as an editor at the Washington Monthly before starting at the Wall Street Journal , where he worked for 10 years as a reporter. Since 1986, he has been working at the Washington Post . During this career, he has gained ample knowledge of foreign affairs and intelligence operations, for which he uses in his spy novels. His novel Body of Lies was adapted to film by Ridley Scott, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe.
