David Robbins
David Robbins is an American author of western, horror, science fiction, fantasy, young adult, mystery and adventure novels. He is the author of the Wilderness series, Endworld and Blade series, White Apache and Davy Crockett series. David has also written for the Executioner , Mack Bolan , Trailsman , Mountain Majesty , Preacher’s Law , Omega Sub and Hardy Boys series. Many of those series are written under pen or house names like David Thompson, Jake McMasters, Jon Sharpe, John Killdeer, J.D. Cameron, Dean L. McElwain, Don Pendleton , Franklin W. Dixon and Ralph Compton . Robbins grew up in Pennsylvania, including a significant amount of time living on a Mennonite farm with his great aunt and uncle. When he was 17 years old, he joined the U.S. Air Force and made sergeant. Robbins worked as an announcer, engineer and program director in radio, then worked in law enforcement before becoming a full-time author. He is not to be confused with the author David L. Robbins (David’s middle initial is also “L.”).
