Douglas Adams
Douglas Adams (1952-2001) was an English writer of comedy, satire and science fiction. He is best known for his Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy trilogy (of five books). Adams was also very much into technology (he was the first person in Europe to purchase a Mac), an environmentalist and one of only two non-Pythons to get a writing credit on Monty Python’s Flying Circus. Adams died of a heart attack in May 2001.
