Ed Gorman
Ed Gorman (1941-2016) was an American author of crime fiction, mystery, western and horror novels. He writes the Jack Dwyer, Sam McCain, Dev Conrad, and other series. He is also a prolific anthologist. Ed spent 23 years in advertising, public relations, as a political speech writer and industrial film producer. As someone who was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Gorman would often set his novels in the Midwest. He was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2002 and passed away in 2016.
