Gail Godwin
Gail Godwin is an American author. Gail grew up in Asheville, North Carolina, raised by her mother and grandmother. A lifelong writer, she earned a journalism degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and worked as a reporter for The Miami Herald before spending six years in Europe. She later returned to the U.S. to earn her master’s and Ph.D. degrees while teaching English.
