Helene Tursten
Helene Tursten is a Swedish novelist of Scandinavian crime fiction. Her novels feature the character Detective Inspector Irene Huss . Prior to becoming her writing career, Tursten worked as a nurse and as a dentist before she left due to health reasons. During this illness, she translated medical articles for a living.
