Jerry Pournelle
Jerry Pournelle (1933-2017) was an American author of military science fiction novels and non-fiction books. He was also an engineer, essayist and journalist. Jerry was a New York Times bestselling author. His novels involved the infantry force called the Falkenberg’s Legion, which is similar to Gordon R. Dickson’s Childe Cycle and Robert Heinlein ‘s Starship Troopers . Jerry wrote a column for Byte Magazine from 1980-2008.
