Jim Eldridge
Jim Eldridge is a British author of historical mystery, thriller, YA, and children’s novels, and non-fiction books. After leaving school at 16, Jim worked various jobs before becoming a teacher in disadvantaged areas while pursuing a writing career. Over 40 years, he wrote 250 TV and 250 BBC radio scripts, including the acclaimed King Street Junior . He also authored bestselling children’s books like The Trenches and Roman Invasion . In 2010, Eldridge shifted to historical crime novels, with popular series such as the Victorian-set Museum Mysteries and the WWII-focused DCI Edgar Saxe-Coburg. He now lives in Kent with his wife, Lynne.
