Katherena Vermette
Katherena Vermette is a Canadian author. She is Métis, and from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Her collection North End Love Songs won the Governor General’s Literary Award for Poetry. Her novel The Break was a Canadian bestseller and won multiple awards as well as nominations. Katherena lives with her family in an old house near the Red River.
