Kennedy Layne is an American author of romantic suspense novels. She is a USA Today bestselling author. She writes the CSA Case Files, Surviving Ashes, Red Starr, Safeguard, and Keys to Love series. Most of Kennedy’s romantic suspense has a military theme, which makes sense, as she is the wife of a retired Marine Master Sergeant. Her husband helps critique and fine-tune her work. Together, they live in the Midwest with their teenage son and pets.
