Kris Michaels is an American author of contemporary romance novels. She writes the Kings of Guardian series, the Guardian Defenders series, and the Guardian Security Shadow World series. She is a USA Today bestselling author. Kris grew up in South Dakota, graduated from high school, joined the military, met her husband, and got to do some traveling. Kris loves people watching and dreaming, which is how she crafts her stories. When she isn’t working on her next novel, Kris enjoys spending time with family and friends and drinking whiskey or cold red wine.
