Larry McMurtry
Larry McMurtry was an American author and screenwriter of novels set in the West; whether they be set historically or during contemporary times. He had also written several works of non-fiction. He was best known for his novels Terms of Endearment , Lonesome Dove and co-writing the screenplay to Brokeback Mountain. Both Brokeback Mountain and Terms of Endearment won Academy Awards, while Lonesome Dove won a Pulitzer Prize.
