Max Brooks
Max Brooks is an American author of horror and science fiction novels, graphic novels and screenplays. He is the son of filmmaker Mel Brooks and actress Anne Bancroft. In addition to being a writer, Max is also a television and voice actor. He attended Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California before moving on to various post-secondary schools and graduating from American University in Washington D.C. in 1994. Prior to becoming an author, he spent two years on the writing staff of the long-running late night comedy/variety show Saturday Night Live. Max lives in Venice, California with his wife Michelle and their son Henry.
