Nickolas Butler
Nickolas Butler is an American author of literary fiction novels. He grew up in Wisconsin, and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Iowa Writer’s Workshop. His work has appeared many publications, including Ploughshares , The Christian Science Monitor , The Kenyon Review Online , Narrative , The Progressive , and others. Nickolas has worked as a meatpacker, a Burger King maintenance man, a liquor store clerk, a coffee roaster, an office manager, an author escort, an inn-keeper, and other odd jobs. He is married with two children and lives on 16 acres of lands in rural Wisconsin.
