Rigel Carson is the pen name of writer Maggie Toussaint who is a suspense and mystery writer. Southern author Rigel Carson, the pen name of Maggie Toussaint, is a former contract scientist for the U.S. Army and freelance reporter. Also an award winning author and multi-published she has a background in environmental science as well as years doing water research which provided the basis for this new series.
