R.L. Stine
R.L. Stine is an American author of children’s horror novels, science fiction and gothic fiction. At age 9, Stine was already typing up joke books on his typewriter. He would start out publishing joke books for kids using the Jovial Bob Stine pen name. Eventually, he would move into the horror genre with the Fear Street series and Goosebumps . Stine is an extremely prolific author who written well over 400 books and has sold as many as 400 million books (as of 2008).
