Rory Clements
Rory Clements is a British author of historical mystery/spy thriller novels. He writes the John Shakespeare series. Prior to becoming a novelist, Rory had a long and successful newspaper career, including being features editor and associate editor of Today , editor of the Daily Mail ‘s Good Health Pages, and editor of the health section at the Evening Standard . He counts many writers among his influences, including Robert Harris , Graham Greene , Emily Bronte, James Ellroy , Rex Clements (his late great-uncle), Ian Fleming , Georgette Heyer , Frederick Forsyth , John Buchan , Cormac McCarthy , John Steinbeck , Gore Vidal, Sebastian Faulks , Anya Seton and many others. Rory now writes full-time in Norfolk, England.
