Sarah Waters

Sarah Waters is a British novelist of historical fiction novels. Sarah has her PhD in English Literature and has taught at the Open University. She has won the Betty Trask Award, Somerset Maugham Award, Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year Award, South Bank Show Award for Literature, CWA Historical Dagger and the Waterstones Author of the Year Award, in addition to being listed as one of the Best of Young British Novelists 2003 by Granta. Several of her novels have been adapted for BBC and ITV.
