Shannon Hale
Shannon Hale is an American author of young adult and children’s novels. She writes the Books of Bayern and Princess in Black series. Shannon started writing when she was 10 years old, and never stopped. She eventually earned her MFA in Creative Writing. Finally, after almost two decades of rejections, she finally got published with The Good Girl and made the ALA Teens’ Top Ten. Shannon often collaborates with her husband, Dean. They live in Salt Lake City, Utah with their children.
