Yamile Saied Méndez
Yamile Saied Méndez is an Argentine-American author of children’s books and YA novels. Being from Argentina, Yamile is obsessed with football. She is a recipient of the Walter Dean Meyers Grant, and a graduate of Voices of Our Nation and the Vermont College of Fine Arts MFA Writing for Children program. She is the mother of five humans and two dogs.
