Zane Grey
Zane Grey (1872-1939) was an American author of Western adventure novels and short stories. He was a very prolific author and one of the first authors to become a millionaire. Over 100 films have been based on his stories. His best-known novel is Riders of the Purple Sage . Grey was an avid fisherman and wrote a lot about fishing. Two of his sons, Romer Zane and Loren became authors as well.
