About
The Bonnets and Bugles series is a series of YA Christian historical fiction novels by American novelist Gilbert Morris . The series is about a story of two families on opposite ends of the Civil War in April 1861. Leah is a 13 year-old girl who helps the Union army along with her father, giving out Bibles to the soldiers. Jeff is a 14 year-old drummer boy with the Confederates who must struggle with tragedy.
