The Executioner is a series of action-adventure novels created by American author Don Pendleton . The main character is Mack Bolan, an Army sniper who served in the Army for 12 years. Bolan was a weapons specialist and a skilled armourer and racked up 97 kills in Vietnam. The series has multiple spin-off series, including Phoenix Force, Mack Bolan (aka SuperBolan), Stony Man and more.
