Flandry is a series of space opera sci-fi novels by American author Poul Anderson . The main character of the series is Dominic Flandry, an Imperial Intelligence Corps field agent from the 31st century. Flandry travels the stars to fight off the various threats to the Terran Empire. Each adventure features a new damsel for Dominic to rescue – kind of like James Bond in space.
