The Grisha series is a series of YA fantasy novels by American author Leigh Bardugo . Set largely in the fictional country of Ravka, where The Small Science – a type of magic – is used. Those who hold its power are called Grisha, powerful practitioners considered to be a part of an exclusive class. Those without the power are referred to as the Otkazat’sya, and mostly work as shopkeepers, labourers and soldiers.
