The Spiderwick Chronicles is a series of children’s fantasy novels by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black . The series follows the three Grace children – Simon and Jared (twins) and Mallory (older sister) – who move into the old Spiderwick mansion and happen upon a world of faeries. The series was adapted to film by Nickelodeon Movies in 2008, which in-turn had a video game made of it as well.
